European Match Race Tour had to cancel the Stop that was scheduled in Bourgas, BUL from 26 to 30 of June 2024 due to administrative reasons.
However, Bulgaria is not giving up and another organization stepped forward in hosting a European Match Race Tour event!
European Match Race Tours' stop in Bulgaria will take place in Iskar Lake from 19 to 22 of September 2024. Iskar Lake is the largest reservoir in Bulgaria, situated on Iskar river south of Sofia. It is famous for the dam and it is a nature reserve where an area for recreation and tourism has been built along the coastal strip of the dam.
The event will be organized by Ultramarine Sport Club together with Bora Sailing and Sofia Sail Academy and it will be held on SB20 boats.
The Notice of Race will be published shortly, but all interested crews can already request for an invitation by filling out the invitation request form.
