2026 EMRT Format & Qualification System
The 2026 EMRT season features a rigorous qualification process culminating in a prestigious Grand Final, hosted by the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia in Naples. A total of 10 elite teams will compete for the title.
1. Qualifying Series (5 Spots)
The season consists of five designated Qualifying Events. The winner of each event earns a direct invitation to the Grand Final.

2. Wild Card Entries (4 Spots)
To ensure a high level of competition and diversity in the fleet, four Wild Card spots are available:
EMRT Wild Cards (2)Two slots are granted at the discretion of the EMRT organizing authority. These are not restricted to teams that participated in the 2026 Qualifying Events.
Host Club Wild Cards (2)Two slots are granted by the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia. Like the EMRT Wild Cards, the Host Club is free to invite any team of their choosing.
3. Defending Champion (1 Spot)
